My mother’s sight and hearing decreased while I grew up. Because of her disability I was very conscious of and fascinated by visual stimuli in our everyday lives.
In this collection of eye jewelry I want to celebrate the preciousness of sight. Simple round and playful shapes are used as beads and pendants. They show a surprising transition from eyeglasses into fashion accessories. By moving and playing with the tension of the elastic connections you can click the separate parts together and change your way of wearing Precious sight.
